Application Process

Academic City University College takes pride in extending admission offers to exceptional candidates for our graduate programmes. The application procedure for our institution is meticulously organized, allowing candidates to efficiently complete their submissions through our online platform. Our Admissions Office, situated at our Haatso campus in Accra, operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Our adept admissions team is readily available during these hours to provide guidance and assistance to prospective candidates via multiple communication channels, including phone, WhatsApp, and Facebook.

Our online application process is straightforward, requiring just 5-7 minutes to complete. Applicants are advised to have the contact details of their sponsor(s), referee information, academic qualifications, a softcopy of a passport picture and Curriculum Vitae readily available.

Entry Requirements

Academic City's Programmes are taught in accordance with the degree Programmes offered by public universities such as University of Mines & Technology (UMAT) and University of Cape Coast (UCC).

Payment Plan

Academic City acknowledges that some students may face challenges in paying their semester tuition and fees all at once. Therefore, we provide the option for these students and their families to enroll in our convenient payment plan. Our plan divides the tuition fees into three manageable payments, along with Academic City's financing fee. Please note that your application will be considered after the payment of the application fee.

Application fees can be paid via wire transfer, cash on campus, mobile money or at an Ecobank branch near you.

Please email sefadzi.dzawu@acity.edu.gh with proof of your payment and for any assistance using the above payment methods.

After the payment has been completed, please provide proof of payment. An email confirmation will be sent to your email address, and you can obtain the original payment receipt from the Accounts Office.

All applications received are read and carefully considered by the Post-Graduate Department Coordinator.

Currently, ACity admits graduate students once annually, for the fall semester intake in September. Please refer to the admissions page for specific details regarding the upcoming Academic year.

Before classes start, please contact your admissions officer regarding any refunds. Once classes start, contact the registry or finance office for any refunds.

We do not offer any scholarships at the moment. However, applicants are encouraged to take advantage of our friendly payment plans. Our plan breaks a student's tuition fees into 3 payments and includes Academic City's financing fee. Upon receiving your submitted application, the Admissions Team will provide a decision within 30 days (Ghana) & 14 days (Other nationals).

You must respond to admissions within 1 month of receiving your offer.

The only documents you will need are:

  • A copy of your degree certificate and transcripts
  • Documents from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to justify the equivalence of qualifications (for candidates from foreign institutions)
  • A copy of your passport and/or government-issued ID card
  • A copy of your Curriculum Vitae

*Additional optional documents such as certificates of achievement and/or training may improve your application.

Currently, we do not have housing facilities for students enrolled in graduate programmes.
