Ramael Ekua Darko is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Communication Arts. Her expertise spans communication, media studies, development communication, journalism, and French language education. Her work connects multilingual communication with media practice, cultural understanding, and socially responsive storytelling. She teaches communication skills, media and society, development communication, French, journalism special topics, and live newsroom reporting, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. She holds an MPhil and an MA in Communication from the University of Education, Winneba, a BEd in Arts from the University of Cape Coast, and advanced French language qualifications.
