Michael Mensah

Michael Mensah is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Electrical, Electronic & Computer Engineering. His expertise spans signals and systems, control systems, embedded systems, mechatronics, and emerging technologies. His work connects electrical engineering fundamentals with intelligent control, digital signal processing, and integrated electromechanical systems. He teaches introductory engineering, electricity and magnetism, circuits, logic systems, signals and systems, digital signal processing, and mechatronics systems design, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds an MSc and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University, as well as a BSc in Physics with Geophysics from KNUST. His contributions have been recognised through Academic City appreciation, achievement and long-service awards, as well as a Chancellor’s Scholarship at North Carolina A&T State University. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
