Julius Kwaku Amegadzie

Julius Kwaku Amegadzie is a Lecturer in the Department of Informatics at Academic City University. His teaching and research interests span software engineering, programming, data analytics, product development, emerging technologies, and human–computer interaction. His work focuses on developing user-centred software systems, leveraging data to inform decision-making, and exploring the practical application of emerging technologies to address real-world challenges. At Academic City, Julius teaches courses in Technology and Society, Software Engineering, Emerging Technologies, Database Management Systems, and Java and Python Programming. He is committed to equipping students with both strong theoretical foundations and the practical skills required to excel in industry and research. Julius holds an MSc in Business Informatics from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from RMIT University, Australia. He is currently pursuing a PhD, with research focused on advancing technology-enabled solutions through interdisciplinary approaches. His contributions to teaching and the university community have been recognized through Academic City awards for Mentorship Excellence and Outstanding Employee Performance. Beyond the classroom, Julius actively supports experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry-engaged education that prepares students to address contemporary technological and societal challenges.
