Julian Alwyn Bennett

Julian Alwyn Bennett is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Mechanical, Industrial & Systems Engineering. Their expertise spans energy conversion and transportation systems, product concept design, continuous improvement and quality engineering. Their work connects mechanical and product design with manufacturing improvement, energy systems and structured approaches to quality and performance. They teach mechanics of machines, manufacturing processes, advanced CAD, machine-element design, transmission systems, and the design of jigs, fixtures and tools, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. They hold an MS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Brunel University and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KNUST.
