Jeremiah Ayock Ishaya

Jeremiah Ayock Ishaya is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Computational Science. His expertise spans generative AI, machine learning, multimodal AI, computer vision, explainable AI, and big-data analytics. His work connects advanced AI with behavioural assessment, early childhood development, and responsible decision-support systems. He teaches database systems, Linux, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and deep learning, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He is pursuing a PhD in Data Science and Public Health through the AIMS Research and Innovation Centre and Stellenbosch University, and holds graduate qualifications in scientific computing and mathematical sciences. His academic development has been supported by university, World Bank, and Kaduna State scholarships and an international conference travel grant. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
