Emmanuel Prah

Emmanuel Prah is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. His expertise spans biomedical instrumentation, biomechanics, health technology assessment, healthcare technology management, and medical imaging. His work connects engineering design and evaluation with clinical technology, medical device management, and health system decision-making. He teaches microelectronics, electrical and electronic engineering, medical image processing, biomechanics, quantitative physiology, sensors and bioinstrumentation, and medical imaging, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds an MSc in Medical Technology with a biomedical engineering focus from Lübeck University of Applied Sciences and the University of Lübeck, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KNUST; they are currently pursuing a PhD.
