Dr Mark Yama Tampuri is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Business Administration & Entrepreneurship. His expertise spans financial inclusion, digital finance, FinTech, behavioural finance, sustainable finance and MSME development. His work connects finance and enterprise development with technology, regulation and inclusive economic participation. He teaches corporate finance, social entrepreneurship, FinTech, banking law, financial risk, innovation management and new-venture growth, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering with a finance focus from Jiangsu University, an MBA in Finance from Coventry University, a BBA in Finance and Banking from KNUST, and an LLB completed in 2025. He received the Fletcher School Leadership Programme for Financial Inclusion Research Prize from Tufts University in 2025. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
