Dr Hephzi Angela Tagoe
August 20, 2026 2026-08-26 13:21Dr Hephzi Angela Tagoe is a certified project management professional and senior lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. Her expertise spans biomedical science, dermatology, science communication, pharmaceutical science and education. Her work connects life-science research with public engagement, health education and the communication of complex scientific ideas. She teaches cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, research methods and principles of chemistry, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. She holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology through University College London and Queen Mary University of London, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Science and Management Studies from Kingston University, and a BSc in Biomedical Science from Anglia Ruskin University. Her work has received science communication, community engagement, STEM education, and distinguished service awards, alongside a Winston Churchill Fellowship. She contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
