Dr Aaron Agbeshie Agorsor
August 21, 2026 2026-08-26 11:03Dr Aaron Agbeshie Agorsor is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Communication Arts. His expertise spans African literature, postcolonial literature, digital storytelling, writing and composition, and African American literature. His work connects literary study with questions of identity, race, religion, culture, and the changing forms through which stories are created and shared. He teaches communication, text and meaning, African literature, postcolonial literature and writing, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds a PhD in English from Arizona State University, an MPhil in English from the University of Ghana, a BEd in English from the University of Cape Coast, and additional degrees in religion, sociology and sacred theology. His academic achievements include doctoral scholarships, research grants, a Global Fellowship and awards for scholarly impact and literary research. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
