Christian Priestly Kofi Dagadu

Associate Professor Christian Priestly Kofi Dagadu is an associate professor in Academic City University’s Department of Mechanical, Industrial & Systems Engineering. His expertise spans industrial flow-system analysis, non-destructive evaluation, power-plant engineering, applied hydraulics and pneumatics, and mechanics of machines. His work connects mechanical systems with industrial diagnostics, energy infrastructure, and the safe evaluation of materials and equipment. He teaches internal-combustion engines and steam turbines, applied hydraulics and pneumatics, machine design, mechanics of materials and mechanics of machines, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds a PhD from the University of Ghana and an MSc from the Odessa Institute of Marine Engineering. His professional record includes recognition as a Chief Research Scientist and non-destructive evaluation expert at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
