Bismark Budu

Bismark Budu is a lecturer in Academic City University’s Department of Electrical, Electronic & Computer Engineering. His expertise spans smart grids, high-voltage engineering, electrical machines, power systems analysis and control, smart energy management and autonomous systems. His work connects modern power engineering with automation, robotics and sustainable energy systems. He teaches industrial automation and robotics, sensors and instrumentation, power electronics, power systems, energy management, protection and switchgear, and green electronics, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds an MTech in Power System Engineering from Lovely Professional University and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Accra Institute of Technology. He is a merit recipient of the Ghana Government Scholarship Scheme and has professional affiliation with the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
