Professor Benjamin Jabez Botwe Nyarko is a professor in Academic City University’s Department of Mechanical, Industrial & Systems Engineering. His expertise spans nuclear science, applied physics, engineering physics, and nuclear energy. His work connects fundamental and applied physics with energy systems, thermal engineering, and the development of scientific capacity. He teaches gas dynamics and jet propulsion, heat and mass transfer, thermal turbomachines, thermal engineering and mechanics, helping students apply theory to practical and professional contexts. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cape Coast, an MPhil in Physics from the University of Ghana, and a BSc in Physics from KNUST. His contributions to African scientific development have received an Award of Excellence. He contributes to experiential, context-responsive education and interdisciplinary collaboration at Academic City.
