The BSc Nuclear Engineering programme at Academic City equips students with the knowledge and skills to design, analyse, and manage advanced energy systems that power the future.
Nuclear Engineering at ACity
The programme provides a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering, combined with specialised training in nuclear systems, reactor design, and radiation safety.

Entry Requirements
Passes (A–D) in six (6) subjects including three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, General Science or Social Studies or any one relevant core subject) and three relevant elective subjects including Add/Further/Elective Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any other relevant electives.
Passes (A1–C6) in six (6) subjects (minimum grade C6) including three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, General Science or Social Studies or any one relevant core subject) and three relevant elective subjects including Add/Further/Elective Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any other relevant electives.
Passes in three (3) A-Level subjects, including Add/Further/Elective Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or other relevant subjects, with at least one pass at Grade D or better. In addition, applicants must have credit passes (Grade C or better) in five (5) O-Level subjects including English, Mathematics and relevant subjects.
Applicants must have a minimum overall score of 10.0 or above.
Applicants must have credits in English, Mathematics and Science at the Standard Level (SL) or equivalent, in addition to three (3) Higher Level (HL) subjects with grades A to C.
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes at O-Level including Mathematics and English, and passes in three (3) relevant subjects at A-Level.
Grade 13 with a GPA of 2.50 or higher.
All foreign applicants will have their qualifications for consideration for admission referred to GTEC for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission to tertiary institutions in Ghana.
